Ash in black, Ash in white, Ash in flowers, Ash in feathers - she’s gorgeous, isn’t she?
Crown queen of Bollywood Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes has been a topic of discussion for her fashion choices for a long time now. First it was, “Why didn’t she wear a sari but choose a gown instead?”, and then it was “Why is she wearing such a hideous sari?”
This year at Cannes was no different. One of the outfits Ash wore was a violet-blue fully embroidered tulle and mousseline gown by Elie Saab.
The dress: We simply HATE. It looks like rags.
The hair: Hideous. Was she thinking of keeping her purse in that "pouch" of a hairdo?
Speaking of which, her ears and neck looked terribly bare compared to the rest of her body. Yes, we know a minimalist look is in, but we could have seen bigger diamonds on her neck and ears.
Usually spot-on in recent years in her fashion choices, these extreme experiments take away from the etherealness of her beauty. Another faux pas she could have avoided was the overly detailed sari she wore at the Raavan premiere. Too much of a good thing is bad, Ash. We say, bring the gorgeous, well turned-out Ash back.
